Your word,
on record.

After the conversation, say what you agreed in your own words. GivWord turns it into a clear, timestamped written record in under 30 seconds — and nothing goes to the other person until you confirm it.

How it works

Three steps. Same note for both of you.

GivWord is for the moment right after a conversation, while the details are still fresh.

  1. Say it

Once the conversation is over, describe what you agreed. GivWord never listens in on the conversation itself.

  2. Check it

AI organizes your words into a clear, timestamped record. You review every detail and fix anything that’s off.

  3. Share it

When you tap Confirm, the other person gets the same note — so you both have one version in writing.

Talk it through or type it out — whichever is easier in the moment.

Use cases

For the agreements that never make it onto paper.

Most everyday promises are made out loud. GivWord gives them a written version both people can see.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Something we didn’t cover? Ask us.

Is a GivWord note legally binding?

No. GivWord doesn’t make any agreement binding, and a note isn’t a contract. It’s a timestamped written record of what you say was agreed, shared with the other person so you both have the same version.

Whether something agreed out loud can be enforced depends on where you live and the details of your situation. For that, talk to a licensed attorney or your local legal aid organization.

Does GivWord record my conversations?

No. You add a note after the conversation is over — by talking it through or typing it out. GivWord never listens in on the conversation itself.

If you separately choose to record a real conversation with someone, recording-consent laws in your state may require their permission first.

What does the other person receive?

Once you review the note and tap Confirm, they get the same note by email — and by text if you add a phone number. It shows what you wrote, when you wrote it, and which details were marked as less certain.

Nothing is sent until you confirm it.

Does the other person need the app?

No. The note arrives by email or text and can be read without an account.

How accurate is the AI?

Every detail it pulls out gets a confidence label — high, estimated or unclear — and you can review and edit everything before it’s sent. AI can make mistakes, which is exactly why nothing goes out without your review.

Will I know if they read it?

We show when a note was delivered to the recipient’s mail server or phone carrier. We don’t track opens, reads or link clicks — those signals are unreliable, and we’d rather tell you only what we actually know.

Can GivWord give me legal advice?

No. GivWord is not a law firm and doesn’t give legal advice. If a disagreement needs a lawyer, we plan to help you find independent attorneys in the future — they’ll be separate from GivWord and you’ll always choose whether to contact one.

How much will it cost?

There will be a free plan. Paid plans with extra features will be announced at launch — waitlist members hear first.
